How to Master Mountain Biking - My Review

Making Biking Easier and Fun?

Confession: I use to work on bikes of all types in my teenage years and although I understood the mechanical aspects, I've had issues understanding gearing. I knew how to ride pretty well but when it came to going uphill I struggled as many people do. Downhill was fun while it gave me a break. I didn't ride for many years. When gasoline prices shot the bulls-eye on breaking my fragile fuel budget I happily reconsidered. But I still could not decipher the gearing code when it came to tackling various terrains. For that matter, maybe the old ten speed needed to be traded in for a rugged mountain bike.

I happened to stumble upon this ebook "How to Master Mountain Biking" and figured there was a chance to answer a lot of questions to make commuting more pleasant.

Pros:

Gearing issue solved. Take slopes and inclines easier. Very cool techniques. From practical to tougher slopes. Learn proper gear changing.

Safety Awareness is covered. Downhill emergency stops and braking in general. Mountain bike safety and biking safety in general.

Comprehensive reading. Although "How to Master Mountain Biking" is written with the novice mountain bike rider in mind, there is information to be learned at the intermediate levels.

Money Back, no-questions-asked refund. I personally do not see the need for this. But it's there.

Trick Riding techniques that even I can do now.

Cons:

Commitment. You can't just read it and know it. You have to practice it.

There is a lot of really cool stuff to learn in this book. It's written in such a way that makes you comfortable with your mountain bike and biking in general.
